Chimneys on extensions

LLC “Riello Service” produces chimneys on extensions of its own production with a passport and a certificate of quality products.

Fully equipped production base allows us to take orders of execution of individual projects.

We take care of all operations from design to installation and maintenance of smoke metal chimneys on extensions.

In collaboration with the well-known Danish company «Steelcon» we produce chimneys with diameters up to 4 meters and with height up to 150 meters tall.

To dampen unwanted vibrations caused by wind load on the tall chimneys hydraulic spoilers are installed in their upper part.

Chimneys on extensions: short description and main features

Constructions on extensions are the easiest and most inexpensive type of chimneys for removal of flue gases from industrial plants.

It is constructed in a form of a single-barrel metal base, fixed with stretch belts. These pipes are relatively inexpensive and are easy to manufacture and install.

The downside of the design is its short lasting: chimneys on extensions are won’t last longer than 10 years, although during its construction a steel sheet installed in the shell is used.

If you need extra strength, then additional stiffeners are mounted.

To compensate for the bending moment steel ambages are attached, and their location is also governed by SNIP 2.09.03-85.

It is always kept tilted at an angle of 30 ° to the trunk. Ambages are attached to a special “bulls”, established on the base of the pipe base.
